Gerry Yates, Northwest native born in Spokane Wa. Gerry graduated from John Rogers Highschool where he met his future wife Rosa Harton. Gerry was raised in a Horticulture and Floral Design family. This experience introduced him to elements of design balanced by the character building of hard work to produce something beautiful for others to enjoy. Gerry’s sales career took many roads before finally becoming a Manufacturers Sales Representative in the Window Covering Industry. This allowed his experiences and background to meld together and provide a successful 37 year career. Gerry represented major brands such as Hunter Douglas, Graber and Skandia. He pioneered 7 states finding, training and building trade relationships with over 500 dealers and thousands of people.

Even though Gerry enjoyed a business career it was just a means of support for his real purpose in life of being a husband, father of four Children, (two girls and two boys) and being a Grand father to twelve Grand Children and three Great Grandsons. Gerry and Rosa have been happily married for over 50 years.

Gerry and his family are outdoor enthusiasts.

Toward the later years of Gerry’s corporate career he decided to start a Retail Window Covering business and follow the advice given to all his dealers.

It has been rewarding as several family members are involved in the business of serving our clients.

Gerry is a believer in Jesus Christ and has dedicated his life, soul and business to God.

Rosa Harton was born in Spokane Washington but spent most of her younger years in Texas and California. Her parents moved to the Spokane area when Rosa was a teenager. Rosa attended and graduated from John Rogers H.S. where she met her future husband Gerry Yates.

Rosa is the mother of four children, twelve grandchildren and three great grandsons. Rosa is very talented in quilting, painting and cooking. Rosa was very involved in supporting her children’s education, music and sports activities.

Rosa worked in several industries before becoming a factory sales representative for Blind Design in charge of setting up dealers and training in her own territory. Rosa supported her husband’s career by managing the home being a strong supporter of business activities.

She is a partner with her husband in their window covering business, and is Office administrator and bookkeeper. Rosa is the backbone of the company and involved in marketing and communications.

Rosa and her husband love to travel together and look forward to more experiences and places they have yet to explorer.

Rosa is a believer in Jesus Christ and responsible for her husband ‘s introduction to the Gospel. Both Rosa and Gerry are certified in debt free financial counseling.

Hello! My name is Dana Jackson, and it is a pleasure to meet you. I would like to tell you a little bit about myself, but instead of listing my credentials, I will offer some insight into what it would look like to work together. My hope in doing so, is that it helps you to decide if we are the best fit to take on your project.

First and foremost, I pride myself on being in the business of building relationships; I just happen to sell window coverings while I’m at it. It is because of this approach and mindset, that the majority of my portfolio comes from repeat clients and referrals. My main objective is to be an advocate for you and your design goals. I start by listening. This world of endless colors, textures, styles, and prices can be overwhelming and confusing. I am here to help you navigate through all of the options. Once we have decided on the product, my role does not end when the sample books close. I am here throughout the entire experience, ensuring a smooth process from ordering to installation and answering any question that may arise along the way.

As someone that wears many hats both personally and professionally, I understand that there are not enough hours in the day to do all of the things that we need to do AND that we want to do. My goal is to make this balancing act just a little easier for you to give more time to the things that you love most.

Office Operations Assistant. With a degree in Business and Sales & Marketing, Jenifer’s strength is organization. She proudly serves on the Spokane Youth Symphony Board of Directors as Secretary, has taught violin and music classes, and is a veteran homeschooler of 24 years with six boys. Most of all, she loves to work on home DIY projects with her husband, Billy Edwards and spending time with her family and grandson, Elijah.

Growing up around the window covering business meant Alex was installing blinds, shutters and shades from a young age. Not only has experience come in handy, but you won’t find a more polite, engaging person who really cares about getting the job done right.

As a building contractor for a number of years, Jeff not only understands window covering installation, but the “all that stuff inside the walls” too! No-one understands shutter and complex installations better than Jeff!

Is Project Manager too vanilla of a title? Not for those who enjoy their blinds installed correctly and on-time! Billy is responsible for making sure Factory Rep Blinds runs like a well-oiled machine. Billy spent several decades in the medical field as a Respiratory Therapist, Clinical Supervisor, Branch Manager, Sales Manager, and Account Executive. He has been an avid expert-level woodworker with creations and custom builds which has carried over to Factory Rep Blinds. Having always had a passion for home-improvement, remodeling and creating, he enjoys transforming clients windows, and loves the feeling of a job done right and a satisfied customer. Most of all, he loves spending time with his wife and family.
